When to submit your manuscript

We see manuscripts in all states of completion, from outline ideas to fully edited documents. While submitting your outline or first chapter(s) before completion of the manuscript could secure you a royalty publishing deal, bear in mind that the number of advances (particularly the large ones!) is very small compared to the number of books published. Having your manuscript complete and supported by your marketing plan is the very best way to attract the publisher’s attention as the review process itself is shortened. We strongly advise putting your manuscript through a peer review before submission to a publisher.
